2022 Rewind!
10:00AM - 11:00AM PST

Watch Now!

Featuring: Tash McAdam, Robin Stevenson, and Lynn Painter.
Moderated By: Tanya Boteju

Welcome to the opening panel of INFUSION 2022, and we’re throwing it back!
To 2022! If this panel seems familiar, it’s because we debuted this at INFUSION
2021, and you all loved it so much we brought it back 😎

It's Rewind time! And no, we don't mean the YouTube Rewind. We're talking
about going through the year that has been 2022 and its impact on our
creativity. In our first panel of the day we'll be going through the writing
journey our incredible panelists, moderator, and YOU have gone through this
year. The ups and downs; the joy found in creativity; what kept them writing
and their insider tips and tricks.

Mental Health, Going Inside-Out
11:15AM - 12:15PM PST

Watch Now!

Featuring: Sabina Khan, Nafiza Azad, Barbara Radecki, Bev Katz Rosenbaum, Matthew Dawkins, and Sara De Waard
Moderated By: Dr. Rob Bittner

A very special panel for us to be hosting. In our second panel of the day
we will be talking about mental health/illness in young adults. Accurate
representation is powerful, especially for those who may not have
access to resources.

With our incredible panelists, we’ll be discussing the nuances of
providing representation that is as accurate as possible; the hopes our
authors have for the young adults who pick-up their books, as well as the
impact of world events on writing - how ideas/approaches may morph
because of this.

Debate Club 2022
12:30PM - 1:45PM PST

Watch Now!

Featuring: Sabina Khan, Nafiza Azad, Ashley Shuttleworth, Liselle Sambury, Tash McAdam, Sarah Raughley, Rebecca Sky, and Rati Mehrotra
Moderated By: Eileen Cook

Guess who’s back, back again?

It’s Debate Club 2022! But what are we debating this time?
Well let me ask you this, are more of the love triangle or
OTP shipper? Are you a fan of the one bed trope or not?
These and so many more will be debated as we come
together to see which team wins!

There's Something About YA Romance
2:00PM - 3:00PM PST

Watch Now!

Featuring: Rebecca Sky, Lynn Painter, Alyson Derrick, Ebony LaDelle, Eric Walters, Rachael Lippincott, Loridee De Villa. Rati Mehrotra, and Anthony Nerada.
Moderated By: Yaunna Sommersby & Crystal Gounder

Romance is what YA is known for. The love triangles, first times,
escapism, and oh the tropes galore. All the tropes galore. In our
final panel of the day we celebrate love. We explore just what it is
about YA romance that pulls us in and never lets us go. Why we
love to read it, and why we love to write it.
